Boys & girls in 6th-12th grade are eligible for our soccer program.

Grades: 6th-12th

Our program should not be considered recreational.

When & Where

The season runs from February to the second week of May.

Practices & Games will be located at Franklin Recreation Complex (1120 Hillsboro Rd, Franklin, TN 37064)

Team registration for tournaments

Uniforms are not included in the registration costs.

Practices & Games

Teams & Practice Schedule:

MS Boys (T, Th, F 3:30-5p)
HS Boys (M, T, F 5-7p)
MS & HS Girls - TBA

Each team will play 6-12 games a season, usually during the week. Middle and High School teams compete in the TSIAA conference.

Extra Costs

Expect travel expenses and uniform add-ons (hoodie, shorts, socks) beyond registration fees. Also, admissions at away games.

Jerseys

Jerseys will be purchased during registration for an additional fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an FCS or TCS student to play for FCS?

Yes, all student-athletes must be registered with Franklin Classical School or our homeschool umbrella program, The Comenius School. You may attend a tutorial, but the homeschool umbrella must be TCS. TCS umbrella fees do not apply to sport registration fees.

Will the teams be co-ed?

Per the TSIAA conference, we will no longer have co-ed teams for soccer. We will need a minimum of 15 athletes to roster a team, with a maximum roster of 20-22/team. If registrations exceed 22, we may need to host placements for the teams.

Is there a volunteer requirement?

Yes, FCS Athletics thrives on the generosity of parent volunteers. Families should expect to give between 6-8 hours per sport per season to volunteer for tasks such as admissions table, stats, scoreboard/game clock, live stream, etc.
